A Local Silver Jubilee!
2012 is filled with national events such as the Olympics and the Royal Golden Jubilee, but why not take part in our own local Silver Jubilee to get you into the mood?
Here at Wilmslow Methodist church we are celebrating 25 years in our ‘new’ building, and we’re packing the weekend full of interesting activities centred around the Olympic ideals. These include:
A family film show
Well dressing and floral arrangement workshops
Candle Meditations/Quiet Zone
Archive Displays
A Family Treasure Hunt
An All Age Family Quiz including meal
Singalong around the piano
Anniversary service with Rev Alan Mimmack
An evening circuit service
The JUBILEE CAFE will be open within the church on Saturday and Sunday serving refreshments and light lunches at reasonable prices.
If anyone is interested in attending any of these events, either drop into the church, call the office (01625 528892) or email us at: admin@wilmslowmethodists.org.uk
